EZ/Street: Dustin White is the first to pass the 160 mph barrier. Not to be outdone, Gary Rohe debuts our new Nitrous Pro-IV 4150 (he received two days before the race). With “Out of the Box” jetting, never been on the dyno… the 160 mph barrier is history and the record lands in Rohes hands! Gary and Dustin are both sporting our top of the line Nitrous Pro-IV 4150.

After qualifying one and two Gary Rohe landed on the top of the heap as his BES powered Mustang moved to the front on race day. What a tight race it was…with Dustin having the better reaction time by only .001 and a difference at the finishline of .017. Both cars running almost exactly the same E.T. and mph…what a finish! The biggest trophy going to Gary Rohe this week. Great job guys. That’s some serious racing. You guys put on a heck of a show. I’m still getting E mails on this one.

Real Street was loaded with records broken as well. The truly incredible conditions at “The Rock” allowed the really fast cars to go for what may be the final barrier in Real Street and it fell. The 8 second barrier is history as Rich Kolb was the first to have the right powerplant/combination to make it into the 8’s. Not to be left out in the cold, Dan Paolini came back with a vengeance. Just days earlier Dan received his updated Pro-Series XE. After we spoke on the phone we knew a metering/emulsion change was required to better suit his new tune-up. It was money well spent. As a result he not only scored the win but walked away with the first 8 second record in NMCA Real Street. Whew, that’s over. Everyone’s been knocking on that door for awhile. Thanks for bringing that one home to us Dan.

Nick Scavo uses one of our very custom Nitrous Pro-IV Dominators. So Nick scoring a runner up in the Super Street category was no surprise to anyone as on race day Nick is regarded as one of the best. One of the E mails I received from another Super Street racer stated, “Nick Scavo is so good on race day, sometimes his presence is enough to scare the winlight on in his lane”. Look for a “WWF” logo on the side of the Scavo car at the next race. Just kidding.

Congratulations to Jeff Chandler who won the NMCA quick 8 race. He’s still complaining to me about selling Dan Paolini a carburetor. He’s so funny.

A special congratulations to Bob D’Andrea who has been doing some R and D work for us and as a result he landed on the top of the heap in NSCA Super Street on both qualifying and race day. He’s one hard working man and was a real pleasure to work with, thanks Bob.
